Anchored with pipes the dock system remains in the water year round as ice has no affect on the floating dock system on this lake. The design of the docks provides storage for 40 Jon Boats and the anchoring system can be adjusted to handle boats up to 25' using the transom tow-eyes on any boat.
This county owned lake and dock system is used to dock Jon Boats which are rented to the public for fishing. The 40 boats are powered with electric motors and rented to citizens for use on the lake and stored using the EZ Dock Mid-Atlantic aluminum stern anchoring system that connect to the transom tow-eyes. This anchoring system eliminates the need for pilings, finger docks, dock lines and cleats while allowing more boats to be stored in less space.
